However, a recent study from the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine has stated that a yoga program could be the best way to cure worst period cramps. A daily yoga routine has been suggested to help you cope better with period cramps

According to the study, a research reviewed about 15 current studies on yoga's effects on menstruation and menstrual symptoms such as mood swings, stress, and quality of life among women between the ages of 15-45. It has revealed that women who started a yoga program even for a few minutes have achieved the benefits once they experience their period. These women claimed that yoga has reduced mood swings and discomfort.
